Circa 1830

First named the Central Exchange Hotel, Rogues Harbor Inn & Restaurant was built in 1830 by General Daniel Minier in what was then known as Libertyville (South Lansing). The inn's original cost was approximately $40,000 and took 12 years to complete. It featured 15-inch thick brick walls, more than 13 working fireplaces, and a facade with columns stretching three stories. The inn served as a gathering place for locals and entertained many guests in its grand ballroom.

Stouthearted Jewelry

The Stouthearted Gallery is adjacent to the lobby and showcases artisanal one of a kind designs by the resident innkeeper/gemologist/metalsmith, Eileen Stout. Her serene designs in sterling silver and 14K gold are inspired by the rare gems she hunts and gathers.

Reviews

“Great BnB for a weekend trip to Ithaca! The staff were friendly, the room was cozy, and the breakfast was great. The almost 200 year old building is updated to modern standards without losing its historic charm. Highly recommend making this your home base if you're exploring the Finger Lakes.”

“A superb location to launch day trips around the Finger Lakes. We trailered our motorcycle and there was plenty of parking for both truck & trailer. This is a really cool old building with a great vibe - super clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in the third floor ballroom just as it was in many 1800's era buildings. Everyone was very friendly and the on site pub is convenient, the food is good and it's a great spot to mingle with the locals. There's a brewery as well as an ice cream stand within walking distance . What's not to love about this place??!!”
